Australians will be the first to experience the ‘pharmacies of tomorrow.’ Thirty stores nation-wide are introducing VR-powered concussion screening tests powered by NeuroFlex®. Armed with VR headsets and AI technology, pharmacists will carry out the tests, which assess key brain function based on eye-movement.
OCULAR MOTOR AND VESTIBULAR OCULAR REFLEXES AND COGNITION
NeuroFlex® performs the following 8 reflex tests plus cognition which can take between 3 to 12 minutes:
- Smooth pursuit (head fixed and head free)
- Vestibular-Ocular Reflex (horizontal and vertical)
- Prosaccades and Antisaccadessaccades
- Nystagmus – Optokinetic and Spontaneous
